Relocate Active Cabinet Components

This page describes how to relocate active cabinet components from one cabinet or rack to another.

This can be done within the same room or between different rooms in different locations.

Select the Relocate Active Cabinet Components option from the infrastructure section.

You can also relocate an active cabinet component directly from the mounted component context menu.

To relocate an active cabinet component, first select the source and destination cabinets.

Select the component from the source cabinet you want to relocation.

Choose the destination cabinet or rack target layer and the new destination cabinet or rack RU position you want to relocate your component to.

Click on Relocate to complete the relocation process.

When a component is relocated, all connection on that component are removed. After relocating the component, you will have to recreate the connections.
