Relocate Free Components

This page describes how to relocate free components in Pathfinder.

Select the Relocate Free Components option from the infrastructure section.

A free component is any component that does not have a parent component. They are also referred to as top level components.

Unmounted components and cabinets or racks are considered as free components.

You can also right click on any free component to relocate it using the relocate option in the context menu.

In the relocate components window, select the source location of the components and the destination location that you want to move the free component to.

Select the components from your source location and click on Relocate to finish the relocation of your free components.

When a component is relocated, all connection on that component are removed. After relocating the component, you will have to recreate the connections.
