Port Matrix

This pages describes the logical connections between front and back ports of components.

The port matrix option can be accessed from the properties of component definitions.

You can manage the logical connection between back front ports.

The port matrix depicts the logical connection between the front and back ports of a passive component, for example, a patch panel.

By default, the connection matrix is set as (n : n) where n is the port number.

The yellow section describes the front ports and the red section describes the back ports.

In the port matrix tab you can view the default port matrix of the component as well as manage the connections.

You can simply click to bind or unbind the connections on screen.

To unbind all connections, click on the icon below. You can also change the grid view here.
