manage cable types

The function manage cable types starts a wizard that lists all port types currently present in the network.

Use this wizard to:

generate new cable types
import cable types from the online catalog
edit existing cable types
delete cable types

Cable types are part of cable definitions and describe the features of a line inside a cable. Please note that you cannot edit or delete cable types already in use.

Importing pre-defined cable types from the online catalog makes your network documentation easier. Please use the online catalog to avoid inconsistencies and data duplification.
