manage geometries

The function manage geometries starts a wizard that lists all geometry types currently present in the network.

Use this wizard to:

• generate new geometry types
• import geometry types from the online catalog
• edit existing geometry types
• delete geometry types

Please note: Components can only be built into slots if they have identical geometries. This means the GBIC slot needs to have the same measurements as the GBIC itself. Geometries that are allocated to existing component definitions cannot be deleted or changed.
