The basis for the exact documentation of the location of network devices are room plans, where the user can enter data outlets, port numbers or devices like printers and PCs. Also very important to a complete network documentation are detailled room displays of IT and server rooms.
Pathfinder now supports you when creating room plans. Based on any floor plan, you can define a room section with a few clicks, and Pathfinder will automatically generate a room plan from the selected area. In the next step, you can display network devices and line connections in relation to their room.
Please select a floor plan first and right click on "use room borders". Now save these settings (lower left) and then switch to the design mode.
