You can use the component designer to define how your component definition will look like; e.g. you can position ports and slots according to the real appearance of your component .
To design your component please take the following steps:
- Navigate to the component definition in the catalog (1).
- Go to "detailled information" and click on on the tab "view" (2) and the button "design" (3).
- The component designer will open in a new window (4).
- Position ports or slots by drag&drop. You can make further changes (e.g. turns) to every element via the context menu (right click). If you cannot edit certain elements, click on the button design mode.
- Click "apply" to save your changes.
