Admin Tools

This pages describes the admin tools available in Pathfinder.

Select the admin tools tab from the options dialog window in system section.

The admin tools are divided into four tabs.

Components

Open

In the components tab, you can remove component instances and lost connections.

Cable

Open

In the cable tab, you can perform the following tasks:

Update invalid spatial reference of cable: Update all cable connections in your network instances.

Delete patch cables without connections: Delete all patch cables without any connections on both ends.

Delete cable ports without cables: Delete all modules without connections.

Create bundle for bundle free wireDefs: Create a bundle for bundle free wire definitions.

Misc.

In the miscellaneous tab you can perform various task such as update caches and catalogs, diagnose and fix database and other sections, clear map data and more.

Update cache data: Reloads catalog data.

Create internal connections as needed: Creates missing internal connections for components (e.g. port matrix).

Update SVG cache: Update the icon cache.

Reorganize interrelation tables:

Query Database SQL: You need special permissions to use this option. Please contact support.

Database diagnose and fix: Run a diagnosis of the database and fix errors found.

Regenerate TableId Generator Data: Regenerates the internal table identification numbers.

List Cable/Ports by PortType GUIDs: Lists all cables/ports by their port type GUIDs.

Update Catalog Translations: Updates the language and translations of the database.

Update Infrastructure Geolocation: Updates the coordinates of all the locations.

Clear map data: Clear all map information. Delete everything.

Update Port type mapping: Updates the port type mapping (e.g. port matrix).

Delete Business Object By Name: Delete cables of components by name.

Delete Business Object By Id: Delete cables or components by Id.

Fix catalog object GUIDs: Fix errors related to object GUIDs in the catalog.

Database

Here you can view the database information and the ODBC driver.
