To create a single or multiple line connections, first select the source and destination components (1).
Select the source and destination ports your want your cables to be connected to (2). for your cable connection.
The number of source destination ports have to must match.
Click on Next to proceed.
In this window you can select your cable definition, type and naming rule (1). If a specific cable definition is not available, you can create one yourself. For more information about creating cables, go to: Create Cable Definitions.
You can also create your own naming rule. For more information about creating naming rules, go to: Manage Naming Rules.
Your connection overview is displayed here (2)below. You can move the ports to reorganize your source and destination port connections.
Click on Complete to finish creating your line cable connections.

To place a cable, first select the start and target components. You can use >> to carry over location data from start to target. Next select the start and target ports you want to connect. |

Choose cable and line definition as well as a naming rule and manage how the ports are to be connected by drag&drop.
Finally finish the process by clicking Complete.
