This page describes how to perform 1n:n network port patch connections in Pathfinder.

Select the Place Patch Multiple Ports Individually option from the cable management section.

You can connect one source port with one or multiple multiple source and destination ports. You will need to have supporting components and cables to perform this actionThe selected source and destination ports must be equal.

Creating multiple patch connections is similar to individual connections.

Select the source component and destination component (1).

You can select the ports here (2). The selected source and destination ports must be equal.

When your selection is complete click on Next.


Select your cable definition for your port selection (1). If a specific cable definition for your port selection is not available, you can send us a request to create it for your or you can also create one yourself.

You can see an overview of your cable connection here (2).

You can select specific cables for individual connections as well.

Click on Finish to complete your network patch cable connection.

Open this dialog in the cable management section on the User Interface Dashboard to patch multiple ports in different rooms.

First select source and target components. Now all ports on the selected components will be listed. Mark the ports you want to patch and click Next.

In the next step choose a cable definition and a naming rule, you wish to apply.

Now you can manage, which ports are connected by drag&drop (1).

Finally click Finish to patch the ports accordingly.
