Access the function Manage manufacturersvia the catalog section on theDashboard. First a list of all existing manufacturersin the catalogis displayed.
Using the respective function (1) new manufacturers can be created or imported from the online catalog and existing ones can be deleted. To edit a manufacturer just double click it.
Note
Importing existing manufacturers from the online catalog makes your network documentation easier. Please use the online catalog to avoid inconsistencies and data duplication.

New manufacturers can be imported from the online catalog. Before creating new manufacturers, please check, if they already exist there. Select the manufacturers you need and click on Import. Manufacturers already existing in your local catalog will appear greyed out.

When creating a new manufacturer, enter name,and optionally address data and a description and click Finish once you are done.
Editing a manufacturer does not differ much from creating one. A similar dialog will open already containing the data of the selected manufacturer.
