The function "manage manufacturers" starts a wizard that lists all port types currently present in your Pathfinder installation.
Use this wizard to:
- create new manufacturers
- import manufacturers from the online catalog
- edit existing manufacturers
- delete manufacturers

Access the function Manage manufacturers via the catalog section on the Dashboard. First a list of all existing manufacturers in the catalog is displayed.
Using the respective function (1) new manufacturers can be created or imported from the online catalog and existing ones can be deleted. To edit a manufacturer just double click it.

New manufacturers can be imported from the online catalog. Before creating new manufacturers, please check, if they already exist there. Select the manufacturers you need and click on Import. Manufacturers already existing in your local catalog will appear greyed out.
When creating a new manufacturer, enter name, and optionally address data and a description and click Finish once you are done.
Editing a manufacturer does not differ much from creating one. A similar dialog will open already containing the data of the selected manufacturer.
